In order to communicate effectively, one has to keep in mind what your audience is capable of receiving, in the sense that you won't be able to convey your ideas if your audience find your ideas either differ too much from their own or offend them.

What does "communication" mean to you?
Communication means to me a process where multiple parties convey their ideas and positions to one another.

I would agree that the way in which you communicate with an audience is very important. It is important because you want to be able to present your own opinions and arguments in a manner that does not offend the audience you are sharing with. Not only that, you want to make sure that the meaning of your own presentation is not lost in how it is communicated. I look forward to see your podcast very much! I think it is a fascinating topic.
